Can I lose a stone by the end of May?

With our holiday looming and only just over two months away can I lose a stone in weight by the time we fly to Cyprus?

A little bit of a back story here. I had an over active thyroid for most of my life so I was very lucky that I could eat almost whatever I wanted and never put on a lot of weight and if I dieted it came off very easily until age kicked in and things got harder.
Since having my thyroid taken out via an operation and having to take thyroxin tablets everyday my weight has slowly increased to the point I am now at 14 stone
and 13 pound. Now to some of you that may not be much at all but as I am very slight in build the extra weight has gone straight to my stomach area so I now look all out of proportion and the beer belly look is coming.
Time to sort it out and as I am not exercise minded the exercise bike was my choice. I have tried this before and over a few months the weight really started to come off but my love for food took over again and I am back to needing to make a stand again.
I have 2 months to lose as much as possible but my goal is a stone but more would be amazing so last week I started on the bike.
I did 15km last week as a warm up and this week I am really getting into in and getting things going so last night I managed to knock out 18km which felt great and a perfect start to my weight loss and fitness program.
I am hoping to be on around 50km by the weekend and then hopefully I will get some time over the weekend to keep it going.
If I can do 100km a week I would be very happy with that and hopefully with watching what I eat I can lose the weight before the holiday.
I will keep you all posted on my weight and on the km I do over on Twitter and Facebook so be sure to follow us on either one to keep up to date.

Follow me on my mini weight loss journey and see what I can achieve.

My new obsession......

So with the amount of time I spend in my wonderful truck you get to hear quite a lot of music. Well after 10 years of this music and hearing the same tracks day in day out I thought I needed to change things up a bit and found myself googling the best podcast app for Android.

I read the reviews and settled on Pocketcasts as my app and set about downloading some podcasts. Now I had no idea there was such a selection of podcasts out there to listen too. Yes I may have been under a rock for the last 10 years but I got all I needed from YouTube and a few websites or so I thought.

I have now got myself obsessed with tech podcasts. Now if you know me that is not much of a surprise but I am listening to this stuff all day long now. Not a song in sight.

New phones, new tech, virtual reality, Google and everything in between. I am getting so absorbed into it all I feel like a proper geeky tech person now. I feel so proud!

I have also found some other podcasts about the weird and wonderful and today for instance I learnt about a worm that feeds off of whale bones and has been around longer than the dinosaurs. Usually my little fact finding missions are reserved for documentary's on Sky but now I have this my brain is getting full up with odd and strange little facts that are going to bug Franki no end and I am getting them every day.

Up until a few weeks ago I thought podcasts were for people who loved their music but after spending a few weeks searching and finding all these amazing and out there podcasts I wonder how I missed them for so long.

That is it people, my new obsession is podcasts and the more weird the better.

Do you have any recommendations for a podcast to listen to?

Drop us a comment below.

The Sun did not play nice.

The sun did not play nicely for our mini photoshoot at the weekend.

As you can see from the pictures we did have some sun but it soon disappeared behind the clouds in the very British way that it does.

A huge thank you to Andy who took the photos.  Apparently despite the sun hiding we still got some good pictures so as soon as Andy has finished with then I will put some up.
If you are interested in Andy's work please do go and visit his Facebook page here andybseesthings and give it a like.

There are some incredible portrait photo's on there and we will definitely be having more time with Andy and Franki with her creative side is already thinking about some great locations.

I also got some great tips as well to help my own photography and hope I can put these into place to produce some better photos.  I also learnt how much I miss having a big dlsr camera.

Thank you again to Andy,  sorry we did not get more time to play but you know of the British weather.

Revealing blog to family and friend's.

Yesterday was the day everyone. The day we let our blog and Bunnywoof social media reveal itself to our family and friends.

Yes we know these should have been the first people we got involved but as we like things to be just right we waited until yesterday to reveal.
Don't get me wrong some of our friends knew about the blog but had not seen it as we had not made a huge thing about it but yesterday I invited nearly all of our friends to like our Bunnywoof Facebook page and get involved with the blog and all our social media.
To say we were nervous would be the right assumption. It is usually me (Ross) that writes the blog posts and I am not the most creative out of the two of us so I was hoping the blog would go down well and I was not disappointed. Almost as soon as the invites went out our friends were commenting and sharing from the Facebook page and direct from the blog itself.

Great comments as well which felt great. Some bad as well (joke) including our dear friend Michaela who was very disappointed to not be in some of the posts when she was actually there or on the phone at the time. Well Michaela now I have your permission you will be included in our blog one way or another. Maybe you could do a post about internet dating or Tinder?

So despite the nerves in revealing the blog it went really well and finally got our first likes on our Facebook page as well which feels great.

Now it is time to move the blog forward and really get it going and we both feel super excited about it.

Before we go if there is any of our friends out there that would like to do a guest post on our blog, a little piece about yourself, a little advert for your business or work place then please do drop us a message.

Blog posts coming this week will include us building up to a photo shoot with our friend Andy plus a mother's day post as we near Sunday and any other random weirdness that enters our head's.

P.S YouTube video's are still in the pipeline so watch this space.

Look who had the most fun at the Park.

A trip to the Park in Bath over the weekend with the little one resulted in Franki having way more fun than all of us I think.

Although it is about 45 minutes away Victoria Park is well worth the trip in my opinion and fun was had all round.

Sorry for the delay.....holiday booked.

First an apology for the delay in blog posts. Life has been a bit crazy lately and the blog took a back seat.
We have not forgotten about you all so here we go with an update on our little life.
Our friend has returned from working in Malaysia for two weeks so we spent some quality time with him before he had to go back over for another 3 months. One night included a lot of drink and a late night which was quickly followed by a bad hangover but was certainly worth it as we had such a good time. Sadly he is going back today so another three months without seeing him is pretty hard for both of us as he is such a huge part in both our lives.
We finally got round to paying for our holiday to Cyprus for our friends wedding which we are super excited about. With the purchase of the house holidays have been very few and far between and this will be our first holiday abroad together so we just can not wait for this to come round and watching our friends get married at the same time will be amazing.
I will try and blog from the wedding with some photos and I will try and take some video as well to upload when we are back.

As far as our YouTube channel is concerned we have put it on hold at the moment as life is taking over so we will try and keep the blog going as that is a lot easier to do but there are some videos ready to be edited that we might put up so you will finally get to see us.

That is it for now on this lazy Sunday as little one is here and he has just finished lunch and we are now off to play hide and seek for a bit.

I will try and blog everyday this week for you all with any updates that pop into my head or any pictures we take as we are determined to take more pictures for the blog.

Simple things are the best things....

Wow what an amazing weekend so far.

So I had a day off on Friday for delivery of our new bed. As soon as they had it made I jumped onto the dam thing to test it out. So so comfy and really can not wait to get I to it tonight and have a full nights sleep on it.
Franki had her hair cut yesterday. It looks amazing even if she did get a lot chopped off. She is definitely happy with it which is good.
Last night we went down to Franki's Mum and spent the evening drinking and eating takeaway. This morning we got up had a nice simple bagel breakfast with some tea and got ourselves sorted ready for a little walk into Sherborne to see what was about. We found an incredible shop called Circus where we spent ages looking round and a lot of money on some great stuff for the house. Franki came away with a huge smile on her face and some new jewellery as well so she was very happy.
Popped into a restaurant for some tapas for lunch which turned out to be so much better than I thought. I had posh ham, egg and chips and mini hamburgers with some bread and aioli which although very garlic still tasted incredible. All washed down with a half lager.
Finally got home around half three and sorted all or crap out and put the ne w stuff in the house.
My Mum bought Fynlay back to us as she wanted a night with him. We have spent the afternoon looking at and learning about dinosaur's which has even taught me some stuff.
Now all relaxing in front of the TV. I have a Gin and Tonic with Grapefruit and Franki has a beer going both looking forward to getting into the new bed later for a proper nights sleep after enjoying some amazing family time together.

As you can see simple things can be the best things some times.

What have you done so far this weekend?

Drop us both a comment below.

Why i bought a smartwatch.....

A few months ago I bought a smart watch. Yes I am super geeky and love new tech but I had a reason for this purchase.

As I drive trucks for a job picking up and replying to texts is illegal and only being able to text when I was stopped was not always working so I bought the Asus Zenwatch 2 due to the fact I could read a text coming in and then reply by speaking to the watch so never having to touch my phone at all.
So far this has worked so well and I love using my smart watch and being able to check the emails and texts that come in without picking up the phone.
Another reason I went with the Asus Zenwatch 2 is that it has a built in speaker in it which up to now has not been used but with the new Marshmallow update coming to Android Wear in the next week or so the speaker will be able to be used so now my texts and emails will be read out to me and then I voice my reply so no need to look at a screen at all now.
Simple things making my life just a little bit easier.
There is also a few new gestures as well that should make things easier to navigate the watch without even touching it.

Bring on the Marshmallow.

Just need to update my phone now to a Nexus phone and then wait for Google VR and a Google version of the new Amazon Echo.

New bed is nearly here.

Hi everyone,

Been a few days since we blogged.
With both our backs being really bad at the moment we can't wait for our new bed to arrive on Friday.
Franki is still waiting on blood test results for her back and mine seems to have good days and bad days but both still at work and working through it.
We have a really cheap bed at the moment and the mattress was super cheap to the point you can now feel the springs when you lay on it so we thought we would treat ourselves to a brand new bed a few weeks ago.
We want of the Benson's for Beds and tried out all sorts of mattresses. We were in there for a good two hours at least but both came away very pleased with our choice but gutted delivery would take so long but the day is nearly here.
I have a day off Friday to take the delivery but us being us the first night we can sleep in it we decide to go and visit Franki's Mum for the night so we won't get to test out the new bed till Saturday. Only we could do that.

In other news we have both taken some video now and some video of Fynlay but we are still thinking on the channel intro video so please be patient.
As I have another channel I wanted to make sure we did this one right so it is taking a bit of time to get things going but we are getting there.

That is it for now but we may be back later for a little blog in tattoos.

We ate snails this weekend....

So with the weekend nearly over I thought I should make a blog post as I have not done one this weekend.

So Friday night we decided to have a few drinks which was good although we did drink quite a lot so it turned into quite a late one.
Saturday was spent mostly in bed, we very rarely get any kind of lie in so we treated ourselves Saturday. We did eventually get up to get food and had a right little feast. Franki had bought some weird and wonderful stuff home from Bath including garlic snails, sushi, fancy meats and some incredible cheese. It all tasted amazing and even the snails went down well. Not what i thought they would be like at all but very tasty none the less and I will be having them again.
If you get the chance do try them.

Caught up on TV Saturday night and the today i spent all morning cleaning the house from top to bottom and editing and uploading videos on my other channel.

Now sat down after a nice big bowl of Chilli with more TV before the working week starts again.

We did film some bits and pieces this weekend but Franki is super nervous so we will be filming a bit more to get her used to it before we start uploading anything.

See you tomorrow.

How to add multiple acounts on Instagram

I have just found out you can add multiple accounts on Instagram and just flick between them rather than logging out and then back in again as the other account.
How do you do it i hear you ask?

Well head to the Instagram app, click bottom right to go to your profile.

Then click top right to go to all the settings etc.

Scroll down and nearly at the bottom is "add account" hit that and log into your other account and you are done.

To change accounts just go to your profile and top left is a drop down menu with all your accounts in and you just pick which one you want.

I have been waiting so long for this feature and it is finally here.

Matt LeBlanc Topgear presenter.

Well i have seen this morning that Matt LeBlanc is going to be the new presenter on the UK version of Topgear.

I for one think this is amazing and can not wait to see how he does.

What do you think about Matt LeBlanc becoming a Topgear presenter?

Franki loses engagement ring....

What an afternoon yesterday.....

I managed to finish work early yesterday so i was just editing videos for my other channel when i get a text from Franki saying she has lost her engagement ring. Aaarrrrrgggghhhhhh.
She was totally distraught, she thought she might have left it at home so i go and pull apart the bedroom trying to find it but nothing there. We call and i find out she has checked her car, handbag, office, everywhere and can not find it. At this point she is almost in tears as i had the ring handmade to order so it's a one of a kind and super special to both of us.
She remembered putting handcream on in the car at a clients house so she rushes back to check if it had fallen out onto the driveway. Nothing.
She arrived home about 7pm, very sad and upset. We had another check in her bag and our bedroom but no ring so i said shall i check the car again. Off i go in the dark armed with a torch on my hands and knees searching the car. Ten minutes go by and still no ring and i am thinking that this is it the ring is lost. One more look under the seats and bam there it is tucked under the seat rail.
Back into the house and show Franki the ring, huge smiles and happy tears. I place the ring on her finger again and we both have a huge smile on our faces.
Such a crazy afternoon but with a super happy ending.
We decided a beer each was a good idea and celebrated the return of the ring and treated ourselves to takeout. Nom nom.

Today Franki is proudly showing off her ring again.

Very happy.

Battle of the backs.

This week is turning into a battle of the backs.
Franki has had a bad back for a while now. We put it down to our really old rubbish bed so ordered a nice new one that will be here next weekend.
In the mean time Franki went to the Doctor's as her back was getting super bad and it turns out it is probably not our bed. I do not know the in's and out's at the moment but dam they have given her a lot of pills to take and she has to go back for blood tests.
Well on top of all that my back decides that it is the perfect time to pull some muscles right over the middle. Not in as much pain as Franki thank god but typical they both go at the same time.
I can feel mine getting easier today which is a good sign so hoping i am back to normal by the weekend and it will just be Franki to sort out.
Hopefully the blood tests will shed some light when the results come in.

January is over, February is finally here.

January is finally over. Those winter blues are starting to fade away. You can drink again and those new year resolutions are out the window already.

We did not do a dry January this year as we only tend to drink at weekends and then it is very minimal so we just carried on through as usual but I for one am glad January is out the way. An awful month, money is tight after Christmas, it is cold, wet and windy. You set yourself goals for the year that are already gone making you sad. You hear on all the media that January is the most depressed month. It never ends.
Well it has now everyone. February is finally here. We can start to look forward to the spring. I can not wait for some warmer weather and lighter evenings.

So what it happening with us?

Well we had another weekend at home. With us buying our first house money is pretty tight so staying in is what we do at the moment but we did venture out for some food on Saturday night with some friends to a new place that has opened locally. It is called The Subhouse in Wells and it is a smoke house selling all kinds of good meat to eat from burgers to pulled pork. Great meal, food was great. I opted for a huge double burger with everything in it. It was huge. Franki had a single burger with jalapenos etc in it as she likes her spice. My little one Fynlay had a childs hotdog which was so big it would have been enough for me.

There are some pictures on our Instagram if would like to take a look. Link is on the homepage or search bunnywoof1112.

Then yesterday we realised how much we have been staying in and how much we miss doing the little things. Little walks, cinema trips, just simple inexpensive things to do together.
So a plan has been made to spend time doing that while fitting in all the blogging and vlogging stuff.

Sunday was a lazy day. We had to make a homemade parachute for Fynlay's homework which was pretty cool. Did some test flights and it worked pretty well. Fynlay was very pleased with it.

We have been taking some video here and there which will be added to the channel at some point and this weekend we will be getting the channel intro done plus hopefully our first video as well.

Samsung NX Mini unboxing.

Our new vlogging camera arrived yesterday so I thought I would do a little unboxing blog post for you all.
We ordered the Samsung NX Mini due to budget constraints we had. I think we have great camera for our vlogging needs and we can not wait to start using it.
The Samsung NX Mini is available here from Amazon for just £188.88 Samsung NX Mini Camera - White (9mm Lens Kit, 20.5MP) 3 inch LCD

This camera comes in black, white, brown, pink or mint green.

On with the unboxing......

First up a simple picture of the box as it came.

You get all the usual manuals and quick start guides and you also get a full version of Adobe Lightroom 5 which is an amazing addition to this camera and great for editing photos and another reason for our purchase.

Here you can see everything came packaged well in the box.

On the right of the box was the usb wall charger, battery and wrist strap. One thing to note here is you can only charge the battery in camera but it looks like a phone battery so will be easy to pick up a second battery to have with you. Both the wall plug and the usb lead are of great quality.

Here you can see the lens that came with the camera. We opted for the 9mm lens as it will only be used for vlogging as we have another camera for photos so felt we did not need the zoom lens and the added bulk of that lens.

Here is the camera straight out the box. The white looks great in my opinion and this camera is small, really small.

Here is the top of the camera, you can see how slim this camera is, perfect to fit in your pocket.

On the right side of the camera is where that battery sits along with the micro usb charging point, mini hdmi port and the micro sd card slot. This is one thing to consider with this camera is it does not use the normal size sd cards rather micro sd you use in your phone.

Again you can see how slim this camera is even with the 9mm lens attached.

Here you can see the back of the camera with a 3 inch touch screen with a 460,000 dot resolution. It has a dedicated video button right where your thumb rests which is perfect plus the navigation buttons below but everything can be done via the touch screen if needed.

Here is the final picture of the camera with the lens on and as you can see the screen flips up 180 degrees, perfect for vlogging and selfies.

Hope you enjoyed the simple unboxing post. Leave a comment below with your thoughts on this camera or what camera you use to vlog with.

Getting excited for the new vlogging camera.

It is Friday woop woop!

Not long till we pick my son up which is amazing, going to be a good weekend. Lego and Top Trumps will be the order of the weekend and we are going out for a meal Saturday evening with some friends at the Subhouse in Wells.

Excited about the new vlogging camera that will be here when Franki gets home from work.

We decided on the Samsung NX Mini as it fits us perfectly. The only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the resolution of the screen. At 460,000 dots it is not great and coming from my Panasonic G6 i will certainly notice the difference but I feel that the other parts of the camera certainly make up for it including the fact the screen flips up 180 degrees, perfect for making sure you are in the frame.

We opted for the 9mm lens rather than the zoom lens they do as this will only be being used for vlogging rather than picture taking due to our other camera.

It is available here Samsung NX Mini Camera from Amazon for £188.88.

I am certainly tempted with the 17mm lens they do as the aperture is a lot lower than the 9mm one but the price is putting me off some what.

I will sign off now but we will be seeing you over the weekend.

I made it home!

Wow i actually made it home from work today. Feels so good to be home. Sat here playing with the blog waiting for Franki to come home while playing with our two Bengal's.

Having a shower at home after 3 days on the road feels so good. Took an extra long one just for the fun of it. So nice.

So close to the weekend now. What do you have planned?

Ross & Franki

Work sucks.....

Morning all,

So here i am (Ross) sat in a truck, not my truck for the third day running without being home. Not a happy bunny or woof today.
So want to see my bunny in is unreal, hoping tonight is the night. Need some love!
If i was in my own truck i would not worry as i have all the kit but as i am not i only have the bear minimum to get me through one night away so here we are on two nights and three days and you can imagine how i feel.
On a happier note it is nearly the weekend everyone, a day and a bit to go or two days for some.
We have my little boy this weekend which is exciting, really don't get to see him enough with the job i have.  Nothing planned so a weekend of lego building and reading i think and maybe a film but which film?
Franki had her yearly appraisal this week and smashed it which is amazing news but i will let her tell you about that over the weekend.
Blog and Youtube side of things we are nearly there. Going to spend some time tonight on the blog getting that right for us and then on to planning the channel intro video and then we can get started on the videos and vlogging.
Hoping we can order our new vlogging camera this weekend, Samsung NX Mini.

What camera do you use to vlog?

What are your plans for the weekend?

Bunnywoof art completed.

As you can see if you are reading this we managed to get the Bunnywoof art sorted on the top of the blog last night.
This has now also been put on all our social media although i need to do a bit of re sizing in places but we are getting there.
Hopefully I will be home tonight to start adding bits to the blog like our Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter but so far so good.

Please do leave a comment below if you are liking how it is all coming together or even if you don't any improvments that could be made.

Just a little update.

Hi everyone,

Our journey continues, slowly but we are getting there.
Last week i finally got around to designing some channel art for our new Youtube channel. I thought it looked pretty dam good but Franki has her reservations but we are rolling with it for now and as the channel moves forward we will come up with some ideas that suit us.
I have now put this across our social meadia and the next project is to set up this blog properly and sort out links to everything so you can all find us nice and easy where ever you are and then onto the videos.

Hoping the next post will be sometime towards the end of this week with some updates for you all.

Our Journey begins....

So our Bunnywoof journey begins.

Hi i am Ross and this is Franki with an i. Why with an i you ask? I will let Franki explain that at a later date in a rant video but lets just say it makes her mad.

Today is the 1st post in the journal for me and our first post ever as Bunnywoof.
I am hoping to be able to get these up on our blog on a daily basis or at least every 2 days from one of us.

So what or who is Bunnywoof?
Well i am Woof and Franki is Bunny, these are nicknames that we have for eachother that we thought we would incorperate into our new hobby blogging and vlogging.
We have started a new channel on Youtube which we will be uploading to over the coming months with just random videos from us being crazy and believe me together we are mad as hatters to reviews of products that we have bought and love to just random stuff we find and like.
A kind of all in one channel with us, our family and everything we love doing and enjoy.

I will sign off now as this is our first post and wanted to keep it short but be on the look out for our first video on our channel Bunnywoof and our daily posts on our blog.

Ross and Franki.
